Welcome to Take a Peak, an island inspired gift shop located on beautiful Peaks Island, Maine, a short ferry ride from Portland's waterfront. 

We are open every day in the summer from 10-6, (11-5 on Sundays) and weekends in the Spring and Fall.  Closed January - March.

Inspired by our gorgeous island and the coast of Maine, we offer a wide assortment of unique gifts for all ages as well as fashion accessories, coastal home decor, custom Peaks Island items and wedding gifts.  

Founded in 2003 by a lifelong Peaks summer girl whose love of travel and for this special island is reflected in the carefully selected products we are happy to share with our many visitors.   Our delightful sales staff will help you find the perfect gift and give you some island tips for an enjoyable visit.
